BOTULINUM TOXIN
Botox and hyaluronic acid are two different but complementary treatments.
Botulinum toxin essentially takes care of the upper third of the face: forehead, inter-eyebrow region and eye contour. It causes relaxation of the muscles responsible for the appearance of static wrinkles: forehead wrinkles, frown lines, crow's feet wrinkles. The injection of botox therefore makes it possible to attenuate or even eliminate these wrinkles in order to rejuvenate the face.
Indications for botulinum toxin injection are varied:
The initial consultation allows the doctor to carry out an examination of your face to verify that the injection of botulinum toxin is well suited to your needs. It also determines the quantity of botulinum toxin to be injected during your future session. The injection is made under the skin at different points.
The injection needle is very fine and the sessions are generally almost painless. Dr. Saglam uses the finest needles on the market.
After the botox injection the patient:
The results are visible from 3 days after the injection session. The action of botulinum toxin is complete after 10 days. Dr. Saglam can perform a touch-up to intensify the result obtained after 15 days.
The result of Botox will fade on its own, on average in 4/6 months. You can choose to let the Botox subside to regain your natural face, or to redo the injections.
This technique corresponds to injections of micro-dosed botulinum toxin to soften the face. It is aimed more particularly at patients under 30 years of age.
The patient can of course travel and fly after an injection of botulinum toxin.
There is no minimum age. However, the indication remains to be discussed with a health professional.
Yes. It is of course possible to carry out these two treatments during the same session.
In some cases, botulinum toxin should not be used:
Botulinum toxin sessions can be renewed at your convenience: 2 to 3 times a year.
HYALURONIC ACID
Naturally present in the skin tissue, hyaluronic acid contributes to its deep hydration. Hyaluronic acid is a synthetic product derived from biotechnology.
They are intended for all people wishing to improve the appearance of their face, by erasing its tired appearance, its sadness or its severity for the purpose of embellishment or rejuvenation.
Botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid are two different but complementary treatments.
After her clinical examination, Dr. establishes a tailor-made care plan to improve the appearance of your face and meet your needs. She proceeds to a local anesthesia then proceeds to the injection by explaining the various stages to you.
After treatment with hyaluronic acid, the result is immediate. We obtain a rested, rejuvenated and embellished face. These effects are observed as soon as the injection is finished and improve over time. The final result is appreciable after one month.
Before an injection of hyaluronic acid, you must:
Several areas of the face can be treated with hyaluronic acid (in order of most frequent requests):
This depends on several factors: the indication, the morphology of the face... The number of syringes per indication is given as an example (see prices).
The injection of hyaluronic acid is easily done using a fine needle or a cannula. In order to reduce the pain associated with the injection, we use products that also contain an anesthetic.
After the injection of hyaluronic acid, it is possible to observe swelling, slight redness or bruising in the treated area for 2 to 3 days.
On the contrary, the face appears refined with well-defined contours and the oval of the face is improved. Indeed, cross-linked hyaluronic acid has a volumizing effect. It is used to restore volumes lost over time for a rejuvenating effect (rejuvenation). But it is also increasingly used to beautify a face and redraw the contours of the face (Beautification).
The effects of hyaluronic acid last between 9 and 18 months.
Hyaluronic acid is completely resorbable. It is degraded by the body in 9 to 12 months. However, we can use hyaluronidase to speed up the breakdown process.
A test 24 hours before must be carried out systematically. The Dr performs one or more injections of hyaluronidase to dissolve the hyaluronic acid.
